2010-12-23 Around Adelaide day 2

The second day of the trip, you bring people to where most people would normally go. To see the icons of Australia.

But before that, we dropped by the big bridgewater mill which is kinda cool to look at for 1 min??

Well, the pictures speaks itself, my friend here just enjoyed her time with the icons, as you can tell by the pure smile and joy when she fed the roos, haha. Although i must say here she was a bit frightened by them in the 1st place, as some of them were quite BIG, they can stand on both legs and be taller than ya!! And it's understandable for my friend who was given a high school ticket price!!! haha. But i think i must applaud her courage to try to feed the emu, and she's lucky that she found a tame emu!!! haha.

HI-5 BACK TO THE KOALA!!!! YEAH!!!

The pelicans are seriously big, and i wouldn't try to befriend them, haha.

Next up, the famous Mt.Lofty peak, and isn't it a great SUNNY DAY!!!!

Some castle-like house of the rich on the hills!!!

Then a visit to the THIRD oldest University in Australia!!! Build in 1874, many of the buildings here are heritage listed buildings!!!

Thanks to the kind lady who is a lecturer who offer to help us to take this photo!!!

The main heritage buildings include the Bonython hall

The elder hall

And the Mitchell hall!!! These three sandstone building that form the public face of University of Adelaide along the North Terrace are among the major attraction in the Adelaide CBD!!!

The Bonython hall front gates, a popular spot for Wedding photos!!!

The other sandstone building along North Terrace, the Art gallery of South Australia!!! It's really good, and it's FREE!!! But we didn't go in that day.

My favourite spot in all of Adelaide!!! haha, even she had to admit it's pretty and the sunset was AWESOME!!!

So much for day2 :)

  1. 您好,我目前在安排明年四月跟父母租車環東南澳的行程,您的部落格讓我獲益良多。 方便請問您最後幾張看夕陽的照片,是在阿德雷德的哪個地方嗎? 謝謝您 ^^
