Putrajaya....yeah

Recently i just went to Putrajaya with a bunch of good friends including a new friend from USM, kelly. I have never see the night lighted putrajaya.

Well, indeed Putrajaya was worth going, the whole city was lighted up with different lighting from the streets lamps, from the builidings...etc.

PutraJaya, named after Malaysia’s first Prime Minister, the late Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, this landmark complex stretches over 11,320 acres. More than 70% of Putrajaya is devoted to greenery and water bodies with 13 different gardens. The principle landscape is the 6oo-hectre man made lake. The Putrajaya Wetland. Native wetland plants from over 50 local species were propagated in the 7-hectre Putrajaya Wetland Nursery prior to planting in the wetland cells.

Putrayaja is the new Administrative Center of the Government and will be a test bed for an electronic Government (a paperless administration) and will be equipped with the latest telecommunication technologies. It is set to be a model garden city with sophisticated information network base on multimedia technologies.

I would say that it has the potential to become a tourist attraction if the goverment really make it a tourist destination with a better public transport around that area. Y?? Well, the different building structure and islamic architecture designs from countries such as Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Morocco were some of the main attractions,

of course not forgeting the artistically designed bridge (putra bridge, Sri perdana bridge...etc),

the Putra mosque, the Putra Perdana building, Putra square, PICC...etc.

Besides that, Putrajaya contain several parks, e.g wetland park, botany garden for relaxing. However, as i have read from some comments online, the public transport there was still not that efficient, the number of buses operating are still not enough, because Putrajaya was huge....and each minor tourist landmark within Putrajaya was quite far apart( not within walking distance).

We took quite alot of pics there, luckily one of my friend brought the camera stand, so that we can take still and good quality night pictures, if not any shake to the camera wlll make the picture blur.

Transformers(2007) awesome!!!

I still remember when the trailer came out, i downloaded it and watched. Of course i was anticipating something great from the trailer, however.....the trailer only show the glimpse of the somewhat highly TOP secret Mars view showing a shadow of a robot taken by a mars probe. nothing much i would say. It was sort of disappointing.

So it didn't excite me even when the movie was shown in cinemas. Not until i heard from friends and friends saying the movie was a great one, i even heard someone said people in the cinema gave a round of applause after the movie ended. I was shocked to hear these, to have people clapping hands must have meant that the movie was real good, which is opposite from the trailer shown.

After hearing all these rumors, i knew i must watch it, at first i thought i downloading the movie, however there ain't any good quality one for download. Fortunately, my friend ask me to join along for Transformers....which i gladly accepted. After watching the movie for two and half hours, i came out smiling and excited. Guess wat???

YES, the movie was awesome and deserved good comments. Right from the beginning of the movie, the movie plot kept the audience entertained and excited, with occurance of battle between a deceptercon robot and a military army base in Qatar. Right till the end, there wasn't much boredom, for me i would said no at all........, i kept wanting more and waiting for more actions and thrills...........i would said it was just fascinating and marvelous, i like the robots very much, as the robots was created beautifully and every detail was taken care of. The robots doesn't look unreal at all........everything just flowed smoothly. I really wondered how they can make such elegant robots, i wished to see the making of the movie if there is chance. The storyline was nice too!!!

I really hope to hear the making Transformer 2 with more robots!!!

here's a trailer.....

Here's the ending theme song from linkin PARk:- what i've done

Plastic bagssssssssss.....

Read the Star e-newspaper ........, saw the article on " what a waste"

Truely WHAT A WASTE!!! 250 million plastic bags a year was used, and this frigthening figure is only the tip of the iceberg because they include only the bags dispensed by Giant, Cold Storage and Carrefour. What aboutthe other hypermarkets, retailers, markets and hawkers?

According to the news, the 250 million plastic bags weigh a hefty 1,260 tonnes, equivalent to 126,000 10kg packets of rice, and most of them end up in landfills. CAN U IMAGINE??? In the future, how much plastic bags will be used as population grow and more and more plastic bags are used?? Will we have enough landfill to dispose of these undegradable materials??

Landfills can also cause environmental problems. Last year, leachate from the Kundang dumpsite was blamed for the smelly piped water in parts of the Klang Valley.
A similar problem at the Sungai Kembong dumpsite led to the closure of the Sungai Semenyih water treatment plant.

With scarcity of land, the controversy surrounding the construction of incinerators and the teething problems faced by the Refuse Derived Fuel “intelligent landfill” plant in Semenyih (once touted as the answer to the country’s solid waste management), recycling remains a very promising way to reduce rubbish.

The weird thing was, bio-degradable plastic bags was not popular or not favor by public......what are those people thinking??don't they have a sense of recycling or help mother nature or concern for our enviroment??? GOSH.......terrible!!!

Take containers when buying take-away food and carry baskets when doing your marketing. Use biodegradable bags was also not in the shopper's mind!!!! Customers love to ask for additional plastic bags from retailers just because they are free. How uncivilized!!!
However, i was glad that, efforts like Giant’s Green Bag campaign initiated last year and careffour 's campaign awareness was ongoing to help educate the public.

Though, using plastic bags have some benefits.....e.g, reused as garbage bags can help to prevent leachate. The bags help to contain the methane gas released by rotten food, which are 22 times worse than carbon dioxide in causing global warming.

BUT STILL...........i would prefer people to reduce on the use of plastic bags.......try switch to other alternatives, paper bags, baskets...etc, and please SUPPORT recycling and reuse.............parents themselves should start recycling and reuse.........and teach their children to do the same.........

SO please spare the plastic bagsssssss!!! Make a change!!! START WITH THE MAN IN THE MIRROR!!!!

Final Fantasy VII....yeah

HEy...DUN this name sounds FAMILIAR?? ever heard of this game or movie of Final Fanstasy ??? be it from newspaper, game magazines, heard from friends who are game freaks......, or somehow came across it somewhere but just don't know where?? Nevermind, if u don't, make sure u read the followings.......WHy?? SEE BELOW

I would like to comment on the game i love the most, Final Fantasy VII (ファイナルファンタジーVII, Fainaru Fantajī Sebun)which is a console and role-playing game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix), and the seventh installment in the Final Fantasy game series

"It has been said that everything in the universe is fundamentally composed of energy. What we think of as matter is really nothing more than a certain type of energy. And since energy cannot be created or destroyed but merely transferred, some speculate that living beings never truly die. Their life energy is simply returned to the universe in its simplest form."--Joe Rybickii & Dido Perez, P.S.X. Magazine

This is where the story of Final Fantasy VII begins. It seems that an evil power company called Shinra, Inc. has found a way to mine this life energy, draining it from the earth, and using it to control the universe. Fortunately, a resistance organization know as AVALANCHE, has vowed to put an end to Shinra's destructive practices. The story focuses on Cloud, an ex-soldier of Shinra, who teams up with AVALANCHE, and along the way, encounters some very mysterious and powerful allies who help him fight against the deadly creatures Shinra has created to protect its empire. You, as the game player, will decide their fate.

Final Fantasy 7 has been labeled by reviewers and true Final Fantasy fanatics alike as "Quite possible the greatest game ever made." In 1997, Square had released a part of the ever-growing franchise that quickly became a legend and arguably the greatest achievement during the Sony Playstation 1 era; an utter masterpiece to the video game world. Gamers worldwide would experience their first Final Fantasy ported to the Playstation from the beloved Nintento and would be treated graciously with astonishing graphics, memorable characters and a compelling storyline. The game contains one of the most controversial and emotional plot twists in the history of Final Fantasy and possibly all games: the sudden and early death of Aeris. Fans would mourn the surprising loss of a beloved character, only to sit awe-struck at the outcome. This event, among numerous others, created a unprecedented bond between player and game that demanded your full attention and heart from beginning to end, making the game an instant legacy.

Not only was Final Fantasy 7 a complete astonishment to the eyes and to the heart, but the Official Soundtrack left an incredible impression on the ears. The melodies are simply indescribable - the ever popular One-Winged Angel being a prime example of Square’s unmatched composition of an astounding orchestra intertwined with powerful vocals; The theme did not need to be formally translated from it’s core language of Latin in order to expose the depth of the fierce, pitiless, soul that is Sephiroth, the unforgettably vengeful villain of Final Fantasy 7.

Square’s great accomplishment had made Final Fantasy 7 into more than just a video game. They have taken the RPG and extended the title to unexpectedly surprising heights. Square-Enix had most likely never imagined a movie, though it was quite obvious after the outrageous popularity, something had to give! Square-Enix had released Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, a CG animation movie sequel to the legendary game. So on, they made other games such as the cellular phone game, Final Fantasy 7: Before Crisis (also known as Crisis Core) and Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus which ended on the next generation console of Sony Playstation 2. The admirable and endearing characters were even featured in later Square-Enix titles such as Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. Arguably an unmatched feat in all of these aspects combined, Final Fantasy 7 is still being purchased by many Final Fantasy fanatics.

It is an incredible RPG that combines the efforts of misused human ambition in the pursuit of knowledge with the strength of virtue in the select few souls who are committed to saving what is left of the barely breathing planet. Final Fantasy 7 created an RPG revolution to say the least. It will always be remembered as one of the most beloved achievements in gaming history. It sold more than nine and a half million copies worldwide! With fans wanting more after finishing the game, Squarenix finally decided to work on a project entitled, "Compilation of FFVII" which consists of four titles based around the original FFVII's storyline - the recently released CG movie FFVII: Advent Children, a PS2 game named Dirge of Cerberus , a PSP game Crisis Core and finally a mobile phone game Before Crisis.

So far, there are a series of prequel and sequel of Final Fantasy VII.....there are:
Games:
Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII

STARCRAFT the sequel......yeah

Blizzard has just made the announcement, nearly ten years after the original, Blizzard officially confirms a StarCraft sequel in the works.

Haha, fans around the world have waited nearly ten years to hear: Blizzard is resurrecting the revered StarCraft franchise with StarCraft 2.

Check on the Blizzard website at http://www.blizzard.com/ for starcraft 2 ......
I can still remembered the days when i was in my secondary schools (form2 i guessed)........, my friend ah nen, introduce me Starcraft, and brought me to cyber cafes to play this game on LAN (local area network). Starcraft: Brood war was already out when i started playing the game......, and EVERYONE was crazy about it, competing among friends in cyber cafes......., in battle.net.......

I wondered how much have i spent on to play this game LAN in cyber cafes where gameplay per hour in cyber cafes that time was RM2-3, depeding where and when you played.......sometimes there were promotions......haha......those were the days..........and FUNNY, this game sort of linked me and friends together, even new friends.......guessed playing computer games might not be that bad.........

Right now, only terran and protoss's army were developed, zerg is still under development and coming soon.

Terran has new units:-

Viking-the viking was designed to be the ultimate anti-air and ground-support weapon system. With the ability to change its combat role from an assault walker to an air-superiority fighter, the viking can switch smoothly to fulfill tactical needs in a developing battle.''

Thor- super robots with 250mm Bombardment Cannon and act as a Ultimate Heavy-assault Mech

Sensor Tower-A sensor tower processes a whole battery of input, constantly updating a commander's knowledge of the battlefield. By using both passive and active thermal and electromagnetic scanning mixed with millimetric radar sweeps, input from seismic sensors, and Doppler analysis, a sensor tower can quickly pinpoint any target within range. Even foes that are out of sight behind terrain can be detected, although a visual verification will still be required to positively identify them.

Protoss have:

Motherships-The oldest and most powerful weapons of the protoss have been awakened and are prepared to burn the galaxy to avenge the loss of the protoss homeworld.

Warp Ray

Colossus

Pheonix

Well......here's the cinematic trailer of starcraft 2 and a gameplay shown in korea world international, enjoy :)
