A relaxing AUMC Heysen trail walk 29th nov 09

map
Did a small part of the LONG Heysen trail in the from the Crafers to Bridgewater with AUMC.This walk was organized by Johno. It turned up to be a pleasant walk afterall, a relaxing one. Being among the trees and breathing the fresh crisp air :)

South Australia's Heysen Trail is a 1,200 km walking trail that extends from Cape Jervis, on the rugged south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula, to Parachilna Gorge, in the Flinders Ranges.
The Heysen Trail, one of the world's great long distance walking trails, passes through some of South Australia's most diverse & breathtaking landscapes, traversing coastal areas, native bushland, rugged gorges, pine forests and vineyards, as well as rich farmland and historic towns (http://www.heysentrail.asn.au/)

Not sure what is the walking distance, but it took us about 4 hrs to walk in a relaxing pace, haha. Best of all, we had a pub meal after the walk!!!

Met at Uni, caught the bus, meet up with Leigh and the walk begins…. It was great for me as it brought me through some side road and trails that i never thought of going into on my own and I definitely enjoyed looking at the beautiful hill cottages, the hilly countryside of Adelaide hills :)

Something i really like on this trail was it takes you through drains and tunnels, haha. Don’t think i ever done that in Malaysia. Most of the drain tunnel here are huge and not much water allowing people to walk through.

Proper graffiti to me is NICE!!!! I just love them :)
